DAY 1. VIENNA:
Welcome to Vienna, one of Europe’s most elegant capitals. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the evening, meet your fellow travellers during a traditional Austrian Welcome Dinner at the famous Marchfelderhof Restaurant. Enjoy local cuisine, drinks and warm hospitality in a unique atmosphere that captures the charm of imperial Austria. Overnight in Vienna.
DAY 2. VIENNA:
After breakfast, enjoy a panoramic sightseeing tour of Vienna. Travel along the magnificent Ringstrasse and admire the State Opera, Parliament, City Hall, Hofburg Palace and many other architectural masterpieces. Visit the historic city centre and St. Stephen’s Cathedral before exploring the elegant surroundings of Belvedere Palace. The afternoon is free to discover Vienna at your own pace.
Optional experiences such as Schönbrunn Palace or a classical concert are available. Overnight in Vienna.
DAY 3. VIENNA:
Today is entirely yours to enjoy. Relax in one of Vienna’s famous coffee houses, visit world-class museums or simply stroll through the city’s beautiful streets and gardens. Overnight in Vienna.
DAY 4. VIENNA – BUDAPEST:
Travel to Budapest, often called the Pearl of the Danube. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided city tour exploring the historic Buda district, Matthias Church and Fisherman’s Bastion, offering spectacular panoramic views across the city. Overnight in Budapest.
DAY 5. BUDAPEST:
Today’s sightseeing focuses on the Pest side of the city. Discover Heroes’ Square, Andrássy Avenue, St. Stephen’s Basilica and the magnificent Hungarian Parliament.
Afterwards, enjoy free time to experience Budapest independently or sample traditional Hungarian cuisine. Overnight in Budapest.
DAY 6. BUDAPEST – BRATISLAVA – PRAGUE:
Depart for Prague with a stop in the charming Slovak capital of Bratislava, where you will have time to explore. Continue to Prague and enjoy an introductory tour through one of Europe’s most beautiful historic cities, famous for its medieval architecture and rich brewing tradition. Overnight in Prague.
DAY 7. PRAGUE:
This morning, discover Prague’s extraordinary highlights. Visit Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the picturesque Golden Lane and cross the iconic Charles Bridge into the Old Town. Admire the Astronomical Clock and the beautiful Old Town Square before continuing into the New Town. The remainder of the day is at leisure.
DAY 8. PRAGUE:
Enjoy a full day at leisure. Alternatively, join an optional excursion to the famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, one of the great resort destinations of the former Austro Hungarian Empire. Overnight in Prague.
DAY 9. PRAGUE – DRESDEN – BERLIN:
Travel to Dresden, often referred to as the “Florence on the Elbe.” Admire its beautifully restored Baroque architecture, including the Zwinger Palace, Semper Opera House and the magnificent Hofkirche. Continue to Berlin for your overnight stay.
DAY 10. BERLIN:
Explore Germany’s dynamic capital during a panoramic city tour. See the Brandenburg Gate, Unter den Linden, Alexanderplatz and many of Berlin’s most famous landmarks. One of today’s highlights is a scenic cruise along the River Spree, offering a unique perspective of the city’s impressive architecture and historic bridges. Enjoy the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Berlin.
DAY 11. BERLIN:
After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your onward journey, taking with you unforgettable memories of Imperial Europe.
