ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Lima

Arrival in Lima and transfer to your hotel. Lima is known as the gastronomical capital of the Americas, offering an exceptional blend of Spanish, Andean, and Asian culinary traditions. The rest of the day is free to relax or explore the city at your own pace.

Day 2 – Lima – Cusco – Yucay (Sacred Valley)

Fly to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit the Chinchero community and its Sunday market, then continue to El Mirador de Racchi for stunning valley views. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local home.

Day 3 – Yucay

Morning at leisure or choose from optional excursions such as visiting the Pisac Market, rafting on the Urubamba River, biking through the Sacred Valley, or hiking from Ollantaytambo to Cachicata. In the afternoon, explore the Ollantaytambo ruins, an impressive Inca archaeological site.

Day 4 – Yucay – Machu Picchu – Cusco

Board the train to Machu Picchu, the fabled “Lost City of the Incas.” Hidden in the jungle until 1911, this magnificent site remains one of the world’s greatest archaeological treasures. Afternoon return to Cusco.

Day 5 – Cusco

Take a city tour of Cusco, where ancient Inca heritage meets colonial architecture. Visit Sacsayhuaman and other nearby ruins showcasing the region’s rich history.

Day 6 – Cusco – Puno

Enjoy a scenic drive to Puno along the Andean highlands, with stops in Andahuaylillas (home to the “Sistine Chapel of the Andes”), Wiracocha Temple in Racchi, and Puka Pukara Fortress. Lunch included en route.

Day 7 – Puno – Lima

Set out on a full-day boat excursion on Lake Titicaca, visiting the floating islands of Uros and the traditional Taquile Island, where ancient customs and crafts thrive. Lunch included. Transfer to Juliaca Airport for your flight to Lima.

Day 8 – Lima

Discover Lima’s mix of colonial and modern landmarks on a city tour, including the fascinating Larco Herrera Museum, home to one of the world’s largest private collections of pre-Columbian art.

Day 9 – Lima

End of your unforgettable Peruvian journey. Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
