Itinerary:
Day 01 – Lima
On arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel, the Belmond Miraflores Park. Lima is particularly known for its excellent cuisine – the city features several of the world’s best restaurants. Remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 02 – Lima
Explore the archaeological site of Huaca Pucllana and enjoy haute cuisine at its on-site restaurant overlooking 1500-year-old ruins. After lunch, visit downtown Lima and the world-renowned Larco Museum, home to the largest private collection of pre-Columbian art. Dinner is served at the museum’s fine restaurant.
Day 03 – Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley
Fly to Cusco and transfer to the Sacred Valley. Visit the indigenous market of Pisac and explore Ollantaytambo, the Inca fortress village. Overnight at the luxurious Belmond Hotel Rio Sagrado, surrounded by Andean nature.
Day 04 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu
Take the train to Machu Picchu and visit the world-famous Inca Citadel. Enjoy tea time, dinner, and an overnight stay at Belmond Sanctuary Lodge, located right beside the ruins.
Day 05 – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Rise early to watch the sunrise over Machu Picchu (second entrance without guide). After lunch, return to Cusco and stay at the elegant Belmond Palacio Nazarenas.
Day 06 – Cusco
Enjoy a walking tour of Cusco, including San Blas, Coricancha Temple, and Sacsayhuaman Fortress. End your day with fine dining at MAP Café, a contemporary culinary gem in the city’s historic center.
Day 07 – Cusco
Day at leisure to enjoy hotel amenities, visit a local market, or stroll through Cusco’s colonial streets.
Day 08 – Cusco – Lima
Flight to Lima, where you’ll connect with your international departure.
