ITINERARY:

Day 1 – São Paulo

Arrival in São Paulo and transfer to the modern-exclusive Tivoli Mofarrej in the most elegant quarter Jardins. Time to relax before you start your panoramic tour at night, followed by dinner at Figueira Rubayat, a very trendy restaurant with elegant atmosphere. Conclude the day with drinks at the Skye Rooftop bar with stunning views of the Ibirapuera Park and the entire São Paulo skyline.

Day 2 – São Paulo – Rio de Janeiro

Take a tour of the city’s most famous sights including the historical Vila Madalena, well known for its nightlife, culture, and art, and Beco do Batman, the city’s premiere open-air street art ‘gallery’. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant.

Flight to Rio de Janeiro. Transfer to the Hilton Rio de Janeiro, located directly at Copacabana Beach with ocean view. Dine at Zazá Bistrô, the first contemporary restaurant in the city, known for its versatile dishes based on organic ingredients.

Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro

Today you will get a glimpse of Rio apart from the lovely beaches: dwell into the life at Favela da Rocinha and visit the community school at Vila Canoas. Walk through the narrow pathways inside the favela with an optional stop in a local bar (buteco). Then drive up through Flamengo Park to the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain and take in splendid vistas from the top.

Dinner at Irajá Gastrô indulges guests with a six-course tasting innovative menu introduced by dynamic chef Pedro Artagão.

Day 4 – Rio de Janeiro

A vintage jeep tour (SIB) leads you up to Corcovado Mountain with its spectacular view of the city and the Christ statue. Enjoy Brazilian cuisine at Restaurant Espírito Santa before you attend a Capoeira lesson in Santa Teresa. At night you will witness a Bohemian Night at Rio Scenarium, an antique shop turned into a nightclub, and eat an assortment of delicious finger food the way locals do.

Day 5 – Rio de Janeiro – Paraty

You will leave Rio towards Paraty, one of Brazil´s most attractive destinations, surrounded by lush vegetation, peninsulas, and pristine beaches. Take a private walking tour around the colonial centre with century-old buildings, stroll over cobblestoned streets and along beautiful white buildings with colourful wooden borders.

Dine at Margarida Café and overnight at charming Pousada Porto Imperial in the heart of the city.

Day 6 – Paraty

Today you will experience the Serra da Bocaina National Park on a Jeep tour (with other guests), walk along rainforest trails, and dive into the water of beautiful cascades. Witness the world-famous “cachaça”, produced in traditional distilleries, and enjoy lunch at Villa Verde, a lovely restaurant bordering the Perequê River, where you can dive in natural pools and enjoy the nature.

Dinner will be served at Paraty 33, a local restaurant with live music.

Day 7 – Paraty

This region is predominated by the Atlantic Forest, the green color of its vegetation and mountains is reflected in the sea. That’s why this region is called the “Green Coast”. Spend your time (5h) visiting the most beautiful islands of this region by speedboat and relax at spectacular beaches.

At night attend the Academy of Cooking for a cooking class to learn how to make a caipirinha and delicious regional dishes of Brazil.

Day 8 – Paraty

Transfer to the airport of Rio de Janeiro (4h), end of the program and homebound flight.
