Day 1 – Lima – Transfer Lima Airport / Hotel (private)                       (-/-/-)
Upon arrival into Lima International Airport, you will be met by our representative and private driver and will be transferred to your hotel. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Peru trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information for each city and a 24-hour emergency number. Overnight in Lima

Day 2 – Lima                                                                                         (B/L/-)
Urban Kitchen cooking lesson. Immerse your senses in an exquisite culinary experience in a gastronomic space of participative cooking. Here, you will learn to cook different Peruvian dishes in a social and fun environment. This experience starts with a visit to a local market where you will help the chef buy the ingredients for the lesson. As you work in the preparation of a traditional ceviche, and a lomo salteado or fruit sampling, you will get to know the history behind the ingredients and dishes which now make us one of the best culinary destinations in the world. After learning a bit more about our gastronomy, you will be able to taste what you have prepared with the aid of an experienced chef.

Half day Lima City tour & Larco Museum (private)
We enjoy a half day guided sightseeing tour to the most attractive and important sites in Lima, the “City of Kings”. Visit Lima’s Historical Center, passing by Plaza San Martin, Plaza Mayor, the Government Palace, the City Hall, the Cathedral and its Religious Art Museum (closed on Sunday and Saturday pm; Santo Domingo Convent is provided instead on these days) as well as San Francisco Monastery and its famous underground crypts. Continue our visit through the residential Districts of San Isidro and Miraflores, passing by the Huaca Pucllana, a Ceremonial and Administrative Centre of the Lima Culture built in the II Century AC that the Incas considered as “Ñaupallaqta” or Sacred Town. Also visit the Central Park of Miraflores and El Parque del Amor, or Peruvian Love Park. Our visit continues with a stop at the Larco Museum, for an overview of Peru’s ancient past as it holds the best private collection of pre-Columbian art in the country. After the tour we drive you to the hotel. Overnight in Lima.

Day 3 – Lima / Cusco                                                                         (B/BL/-)
Transfer Hotel / Lima Airport (private)
At the appropriate time, our representative will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the Lima Airport to board your next flight. Our representative will assist you with check-in procedures and all departure formalities.

Transfer Cusco Airport / Sacred Valley incl. Pisac Ruins en route (private)
Upon arrival into Cusco International Airport, you will be met by our representative and private driver and will be transferred to your hotel in the Sacred Valley. Our representative will assist you with the corresponding check-in procedures and provide you with a detailed itinerary, vouchers covering all the services included in your tour and additional information on the organization of your Peru trip. You will also receive a contact information sheet with all the hotel details as well as our offices contact information for each city and a 24-hour emergency number. En route to the Sacred Valley, head to the town of Pisac, famous for its ruins which lie atop a hill at the entrance to the valley and separated along the ridge into four groups: P’isaqa, Inti Watana, Q’allaqasa, and Kinchiraqay. Visit the Inti Watana group which includes the Temple of the Sun, baths, altars, water fountains, a ceremonial platform, and an inti watana – a volcanic ritual stone used as an astronomic clock or Inca calendar to define the change seasons. Overnight in Valley.

Day 4 – Cusco                                                                                       (B/L/-)
Visit to the Ollanta Tambo Fortress plus a stop at Pablo Seminario’s Ceramic Workshop (private) Today, we will set off the Inca fortress and citadel of Ollanta Tambo. This site was built just as the Spaniards arrived and evidence of how it was constructed is still visible. This fortress was believed to be constructed in order to guard the entrance to this part of the valley and protect it from possible invasions of tribes from the jungle lowlands. We continue through the Sacred Valley for a stop at Pablo Seminario’s Ceramic Workshop, where we can observe creations in progress and with luck maybe even meet the own artist Pablo Seminario as he mainly works in his studio year-round. At the end of our visit, we will have the opportunity to take a look at the exhibition shop and why not maybe even buy one of their unique pieces.

Lunch at El Huacatay Restaurant (set menu)
Enjoy a delicious meal at this small restaurant in Urubamba but with one of the most creative cuisines in the region. Not only a place where each dish is an experience for the senses, but also a refuge where the atmosphere and aesthetics are part of the charm. After the lunch we will return to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure for activities on your own. Overnight in Valley.

Day 5 – Cusco                                                                                      (B/L/D)
Half day Kayaking Adventure in Piuray Lake including Deluxe picnic lunch (private)
This new and exciting way of exploring the sacred valley will lead us to discover this hidden beauty combining outdoor activity with spectacular scenery. We Will start this day with a transfer in to the I Piuray Outdoor Center, where we will welcome you with a station for hot drinks, water and snacks. This will be an ideal moment to relax, contemplate the place and take photos. At appropriated time, your assigned guide will provide you with all the equipment to kayak, accompanied by a safety briefing and paddling technique. The tour will last between 1 hour to 1 hour and 30 min. Before starting the tour, there will be a 20-minute stretching session, and before the end, there will be a session of breathing and immersion in ice water, which will be optional. After finish, you will be transferred to tour next destination to enjoy a wonderful picnic lunch experience.

Deluxe Picnic Lunch with Service (Private)
Today we will experience an unexpected lunch in the middle of nature with unique views than range from mirror-like lakes to magnificent mountains. We will find ourselves surrounded by beautiful landscapes, sipping a wine, admiring the stunning view of the Andes Mountains and having a traditional Andean picnic lunch unlike any other. Waterproof tents and transparent covers are expected if we experience a windy day.
Transfer hotels in Urubamba / Ollantaytambo Train Station (private)
At the appropriate time, we will transfer you to the Ollantaytambo Train Station to board your train to Machu Picchu. Our representative will assist you with the corresponding check-in procedures and all departure formalities. Dinner included in the hotel. Overnight in Aguas Calientes.

Day 6 – Cusco – Full day excursion to Machu Picchu (private)         (B/L/-)
We begin with a morning transfer to the bus station to board the bus that will take us on a 20-minute ride up to the citadel of Machu Picchu (3,400masl/11,15ft), or Lost City of the Incas. Here, we take a guided tour of the Citadel, probably the most amazing urban creation of the Inca Empire, with its giant walls, terraces and ramps, which appear as though they have been cut naturally in the continuous rock escarpments.
Lunch a la Carte at Sumaq Machu Picchu Hotel
In the afternoon, we return to Ollantaytambo by train. Upon arrival at the train station, you Will be met by our representative and driver for the transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 7 – Cusco – Andean Flavors (private)                                     (B/L/D)
An experience for those avid food lovers. We start with a guided tour through the Santo Domingo church built upon the foundations of the Inca temple Koricancha, dedicated to worship the Sun God. We continue with a walk to the to the San Pedro Market, a typical local Mercado, and a popular place for locals to eat a hot meal or fresh juice. They offer almost all the regional produce from fruits, vegetables, herbs and meats to hand-woven sweaters other clothes and crafts. Here you will learn a little bit about them and how they are used to prepare Peruvian specialties. Then we stroll through beautiful cobblestone streets to either the Chocolate Museum or Museo del Café (Coffee Museum). Here we do some tastings and learn more about the origins of Peruvian cacao or coffee. The perfect opportunity to take some delicious souvenirs or snacks for the rest of your journeys. We follow this delicious visit with a walk around the Main Square where we are able to admire the finest examples of Inca history and architecture and visit the city’s most important historical monuments that reveal the influence of different cultures. Then, we head to the district of San Blas, with its winding streets and whitewashed houses with blue balconies. This bohemian neighborhood is full of artisan workshops where we can find everything from ceramics, to sculptures, to textiles and, if we’re lucky, even find the artists themselves working on new creations.

We finish with a lunch will be served at Pachapapa Restaurant, offering traditional dishes from Cusco and more, in an atmosphere that pays homage to the region’s customs, art, and mystique, local handicrafts and cuisine that have been passed down from generation to generation. After the tour we return to the hotel.

Dinner a la carte at Cicciolina restaurant
At the appropriate time, our representative will meet you at the hotel lobby and transfer you to the restaurant. Our representative will assist you with any pre-arranged reservations and/or seating arrangements. After dinner, you will be transferred to the hotel. Overnight in Cusco.

Day 8 – Cusco Transfer Hotel / Cusco Airport (private)                 (B/-/-)
