ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires, Argentina’s elegant capital. In the evening, enjoy dinner and one of the city’s most authentic tango shows at the famous La Ventana (shared basis). Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires
Half-day city tour to discover Buenos Aires’ highlights, including Plaza de Mayo, San Telmo, and La Boca. Enjoy coffee and snacks at the historic Café Tortoni, the city’s oldest literary café. Optional: join an Argentine culinary experience in the evening to learn about local cuisine and culture. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 3 – Buenos Aires – Ushuaia
Flight to Ushuaia, the southernmost city in the world, located on Tierra del Fuego. Short orientation tour with photo stops followed by free time to explore. Overnight in Ushuaia.
Day 4 – Ushuaia – Tierra del Fuego National Park & Penguin Colony
Excursion to the breathtaking Tierra del Fuego National Park. Continue to a historic estancia founded in 1886 to learn about Patagonian ranch life. Later, enjoy a short sailing trip to Isla Martillo to observe colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins (best season: mid-November to mid-April). Overnight in Ushuaia.
Day 5 – Ushuaia – El Calafate
Flight to El Calafate, gateway to Argentina’s glaciers. Optional visit to the Glaciarium Museum, dedicated to Patagonian ice fields. Overnight in El Calafate.
Day 6 – El Calafate – Perito Moreno Glacier
Full-day excursion to the majestic Perito Moreno Glacier. Witness the thunderous cracking of ice as giant chunks fall into the turquoise waters below. A truly unforgettable natural wonder. Overnight in El Calafate.
Day 7 – El Calafate – Buenos Aires
Flight back to Buenos Aires. Afternoon at leisure for last-minute shopping or sightseeing. Overnight in Buenos Aires.
Day 8 – Buenos Aires – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your return flight or continue on a post-tour extension.
