Upon arrival at Mérida International Airport, transfer to your hotel. Later, enjoy a guided city tour aboard Mérida’s famous open-air sightseeing vehicles. Explore the city and discover its history, culture, and beautiful architecture while visiting some of its most important landmarks, including the majestic Paseo de Montejo, Parque de las Américas, the Historic Center, Mérida Cathedral, the Government Palace, and more.

DAY 02. UXMAL, KABAH & CENOTE EXCURSION:
Depart Mérida for a full-day excursion to Uxmal and Kabah, with a visit to a beautiful cenote. Located approximately 80 kilometers from Mérida, Uxmal is one of the most impressive archaeological sites in the Yucatán Peninsula and a remarkable example of Puuc Maya architecture. Its buildings feature smooth walls, elaborate ornamental friezes, and distinctive geometric designs. Most of Uxmal’s structures date from the Classic Maya period, with some belonging to the later stages of Maya civilization. Chaac, the Maya rain god, is prominently represented throughout the site, including at the Governor’s Palace, the Nunnery Quadrangle, and the Pyramid of the Magician. Continue to Kabah to discover additional examples of Puuc architecture and Maya culture before visiting a cenote, one of Yucatán’s famous natural freshwater pools.

DAY 03. CELESTÚN: PARADISE OF BIRDS & PINK FLAMINGOS:
Travel approximately 96 kilometers west of Mérida to Celestún, a charming fishing village known for its crystal-clear waters, beautiful beaches, and extraordinary natural environment. Explore the Celestún Biosphere Reserve by boat during an approximately 1½-hour excursion through the mangroves, the Island of the Birds, and the Valeosera and Quinitún lagoons. The reserve is home to a wide variety of wildlife, including white-tailed deer, armadillos, crocodiles, wild turkeys, ducks, and countless species of birds. The main attraction is the opportunity to observe magnificent pink flamingos in their natural habitat, along with freshwater springs and lush vegetation. Lunch is included.

DAY 04. SANTA BARBARA THREE CENOTES:
At 9:00 AM, depart for Cuzamá, a famous cenote region in Yucatán. Today, visit three spectacular cenotes and experience the traditional local transportation consisting of a wooden cart pulled by a horse along a narrow railway track. The cenotes offer facilities including life jackets, showers, a restaurant, and lockers for storing personal belongings. Enjoy free time to swim, explore, and participate in activities at the three cenotes. After the cenote excursion, continue to a local tourist restaurant for lunch and enjoy the renowned flavors of traditional Yucatecan cuisine.

Explore this magnificent archaeological complex and visit some of its most iconic structures, including the Temple of Kukulkán, the Great Ball Court, the Sacred Cenote, the Astronomical Observatory, and the Temple of the Thousand Columns. Enjoy lunch at the traditional Xay-Beh Restaurant before continuing to Izamal. Discover Izamal, known as the City of Three Cultures and the City of Hills. Located in the heart of the Yucatán Peninsula, Izamal is considered one of the region’s most charming colonial cities. The city is home to five important ancient Maya pyramids, including the impressive Kinich Kakmó, as well as Conejo, Kabul, and Izamatul.
