ITINERARY:

DAY 01. (FR. 27 DEC) MEXICO CITY ARRIVAL TRANSFER: Reception at the Mexico City International Airport “Benito Juarez” transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

DAY 02. (SAT. 28 DEC) CIUDAD DE LOS ANGELES PUEBLA Y VAL “QUIRICO – SPECIAL DEPARTURE (replaces Puebla Cholula, that day will not operate in favor of closing it to all agencies): Breakfast. 11:00 hrs. We will leave Mexico City for Puebla, a World Heritage City declared by UNESCO, visiting its imposing Cathedral in its main square and the Chapel of the Rosary, considered the eighth wonder of the art world. At the end, we will start the magic in a small place that looks like a beautiful European-style villa in Mexico: Val’ Quirico, inspired by Italian Tuscany where you can walk among its illuminated alleys, you will have the opportunity to witness Christmas carols and have a magical night. There are also several entertainment options such as a Venetian carousel, restaurants, boutiques, art shops, cafes and the “Elves of the People” Show, at 6:30 p.m. which takes place in 3 different locations so that you have the opportunity to see it at any time (Plazuela de los Haces, Plazuela de los Blanca, Zocalo). The whole town will be full of Christmas decorations and lighting. This is Christmas in Val’ Quirico, the time of year where happiness and good times come together to make it unforgettable. In the evening return to Mexico City. Accommodation.

DAY 03. (SUN. 29 DEC) XOCHIMILCO, C.U. AND COYOACAN: Breakfast. Panoramic tour admiring the World Trade Center, the Siqueiros Cultural Poliforum, the Plaza de Toros Mexico, the Teatro de los Insurgentes, the Olympic Stadium, the Uni­versity City, and the lava gardens of Pedregal de San Angel: then we will visit Xochimilco, a World Heritage Site, where we will ride on an Aztec boat; We will also visit the wonderful neighborhood of Coyoacan, its 16th century mansions and the church of San Juan Bautista with its impressive paintings. It will only be operated on Wednesdays at 14:00 hrs and Sunday mornings. Accommodation.

DAY 04. (MOON 30 DEC) BASILICA & PYRAMIDS WITH LUNCH: Breakfast. We will start our tour by visiting the Plaza of the Three Cultures that mixes the past and the present, from there we will continue to the impressive archaeological zone of Teotihuacan, where we will visit the monumental Pyramids of the Sun and the Moon, the temple of Quetzalpapalotl, the citadel and the Avenue of the Dead. We will also visit an arti­san center, where we will be given an explanation about the elaboration of obsidian and jade crafts, as well as the tradi­tional drink (Includes tasting of Tequila, Mezcal and Pulque). On the way back to the city we will visit the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Patroness of America, the second most frequented shrine by the Catholic faithful around the world. Accommodation.

DIA 05. (MAR. 31 DIC) FREE: Breakfast. Free day to do personal activities, tour the area or enjoy the hotel facilities. Accommodation. 

DIA 06. (MI E. 01 ENE) CUERNAVACA Y TAXCO CON ALMUERZO: Breakfast. Departing from Mexico City we will start a panoramic tour of Cuernavaca, the city of eternal spring, ad­miring one of the oldest cathedrals in America, the Palace of Cortes, its mansions and avenues; we will continue to visit one of the treasures of the Sierra Madre: Taxco, “World Capital of Silver”, visiting the famous Baroque parish of Santa Prisca, We will walk through its beautiful cobblestone streets, admire and buy the silver works of its artisans. Accommodation.

DAY 07. (THU. 02 JAN). TRANSFER OUT MEXICO CITY: Breakfast. At the indicated time, transfer to Mexico City Airport “Benito Juarez” to board the flight back home.
