17 Days/ 16 Nights 

Itinerary: 

Day 01 – Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel. City tour including a snack at the iconic Café Tortoni. Welcome dinner at an excellent steak restaurant.

Day 02 – Buenos Aires
Tigre Delta excursion including wooden boat navigation and lunch. Optional dinner and Tango show at night.

Day 03 – Buenos Aires
Excursion to visit an Estancia including a typical “asado” (BBQ) served with fine Argentine wines, mate tasting, horse riding, and a horse-drawn carriage ride. The gauchos will round up your Pampa experience with a special show.

Day 04 – Buenos Aires – Salta
Flight to Salta and transfer to your hotel. City tour with visit to the High Mountain Museum (MAAM).

Day 05 – Salta – Tolar Grande
Transfer to the small village of Tolar Grande for overnight. En route, cross the Quebrada del Toro gorge, the town of San Antonio de los Cobres, and the desert labyrinth.

Day 06 – Tolar Grande – El Peñón
Pass through the Arizora salt lake to the Antofalla oasis. Continue through the Vega Colorada plain and the Quebrada de Calalaste gorge until you reach Antofagasta de la Sierra and arrive in El Peñón. Overnight at a hostería.

Day 07 – El Peñón
Excursion to Campo de Piedra Pómez, a striking landscape formed by volcanic rocks. From October to April, visit the Grand Lagoon, home to Puna flamingos.

Day 08 – El Peñón – Cafayate
Transfer to Cafayate, a beautiful town amidst vineyards. Stop in Santa Maria for lunch. Overnight at a hotel.

Day 09 – Cafayate – Salta
Panoramic transfer through the Quebrada de las Conchas gorge back to Salta for overnight.

Day 10 – Salta – Humahuaca – Salta
Full-day excursion to the Humahuaca Gorge including the Cerro de Siete Colores (Seven Colours Hill) and Tilcara with its Pucará (indigenous fortress). Continue north to Humahuaca to visit the handicraft market. On the way back to Salta, visit the city of Jujuy.

Day 11 – Salta – Puerto Iguazú
Flight to Puerto Iguazú and transfer to your hotel.

Day 12 – Puerto Iguazú
Visit Iguazu National Park (Argentina side), including the Devil’s Throat with its highest continuous fall. Enjoy views of rainbows over the mist, green parrots flying above the waters, and colourful butterflies hovering over lush greenery.

Day 13 – Puerto Iguazú – Yacutinga
Transfer by bus and boat to Yacutinga Lodge. Welcome dinner and overnight at Yacutinga Lodge.

Day 14 – Yacutinga
Hike to San Francisco River for floating, ideal for wildlife observation and a photo safari. Wildlife excursions along interpretation trails and an evening visit to one of the observation towers.

Day 15 – Yacutinga – Puerto Iguazú
Free morning for self-guided walks and relaxation. Return to Puerto Iguazú at noon.

Day 16 – Puerto Iguazú – Buenos Aires
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls with panoramic views of the cascades. Flight back to Buenos Aires and transfer to your hotel.

Day 17 – Buenos Aires
End of the roundtrip and homebound flight.
