Itinerary:
Day 1 – Santiago de Chile
Arrival in Santiago. Enjoy a city tour including San Cristóbal Hill with its stunning panoramic views. Overnight at Hotel Torremayor.
Day 2 – Santiago de Chile
Full-day excursion to the coastal cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, known for their colorful houses and seaside charm.
Day 3 – Santiago – Mendoza
Scenic full-day journey across the Andes Mountains to Mendoza, Argentina (by public bus, no guide for Basis 02 pax). Overnight at Hotel Aconcagua.
Day 4 – Mendoza
Discover the city of Mendoza on a half-day tour, including a visit to a local winery with wine tasting.
Day 5 – Mendoza – Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires. Afternoon city tour of the main landmarks. Overnight at Hotel de las Américas.
Day 6 – Buenos Aires
Full-day excursion to a traditional Argentine estancia with Gaucho show and lunch. In the evening, dinner and tango show at “El Viejo Almacén.” (Seat-In-Basis for Basis 02 pax)
Day 7 – Buenos Aires – Salta
Flight to Salta. Enjoy a half-day city tour of this charming colonial town. Overnight at Hotel Marilian.
Day 8 – Salta – Cafayate – Salta
Full-day excursion to Cafayate, a picturesque town surrounded by vineyards and impressive rock formations.
Day 9 – Salta – Humahuaca – Purmamarca
Full-day excursion to Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage valley. Continue to Purmamarca, famous for its “Hill of Seven Colors.” Overnight at Hotel La Comarca.
Day 10 – Purmamarca – San Pedro de Atacama
Transfer via Cuesta de Lipán, crossing the Paso de Jama into Chile. In the afternoon, visit the Atacama Salt Lake and Toconao ruins.
Day 11 – San Pedro de Atacama
Morning excursion to Laguna Verde and Licancabur Volcano. Afternoon visit to the San Pedro Museum, Pukará de Quitor ruins, and the Moon Valley at sunset.
Day 12 – San Pedro de Atacama
Full-day excursion to the El Tatio Geysers, one of the highest geothermal fields in the world.
Day 13 – San Pedro – Antofagasta – Arica
Early morning drive to Antofagasta. City tour including “La Portada” rock formation. Flight to Arica. Overnight at Hotel Arica.
Day 14 – Arica
Full-day excursion to Lauca National Park and Lake Chungará, one of the world’s highest lakes.
Day 15 – Arica – Santiago de Chile
City tour of Arica, including the Azapa Museum. Transfer to the airport for flight to Santiago. Overnight at Hotel Torremayor.
Day 16 – Santiago de Chile
Transfer to the airport for your return flight or post-tour extension.
