Itinerary:
Day 1 – Santiago de Chile
Arrival in Santiago de Chile. Get your first glimpse of this cosmopolitan capital during a city tour visiting its main landmarks and neighborhoods.
Day 2 – Santiago – Calama – San Pedro de Atacama
Flight to Calama and transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. Enjoy a city walking tour and visit the otherworldly Moon Valley, famous for its dramatic rock formations and sunset views.
Day 3 – San Pedro de Atacama
Full-day excursion to the Atacama Salt Flats, Lagunas Miscanti & Miñiques, and the village of Toconao (seat-in). Lunch included.
Day 4 – San Pedro de Atacama
Day at leisure to relax or explore at your own pace.
Optional: Early morning visit to the spectacular El Tatio Geysers, where steam plumes rise dramatically against the desert sunrise.
Day 5 – San Pedro de Atacama – Calama – Santiago
Transfer to Calama (seat-in) and fly back to Santiago. Half-day city tour exploring the highlights of this bustling metropolis.
Day 6 – Santiago de Chile
Day at leisure.
Optional: Full-day excursion to the charming coastal cities of Viña del Mar and Valparaíso, known for their bohemian culture and colorful hillside homes.
Day 7 – Santiago de Chile – Mendoza
Transfer by public bus across the majestic Andes Mountains to Mendoza, Argentina’s world-renowned wine capital.
Day 8 – Mendoza
Visit a traditional winery and enjoy a tasting of Argentina’s famous Malbec wines.
Optional: Afternoon city tour to explore Mendoza’s plazas, parks, and colonial heritage.
Day 9 – Mendoza – Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires. City tour through this vibrant and elegant capital, visiting La Boca, May Square, Puerto Madero, and Recoleta.
Day 10 – Buenos Aires
Day at leisure.
Optional: Visit a traditional Estancia for a gaucho and folklore show with a typical Argentine barbecue lunch, or explore the San Telmo Flea Market (Sundays only).
Day 11 – Buenos Aires
Half-day excursion to the Tigre Delta (seat-in), a scenic riverside retreat outside the city.
Optional: Evening Tango Show with dinner at the famous El Viejo Almacén.
Day 12 – Buenos Aires – Iguassú
Flight to Iguassú. Visit the Argentine side of the falls, including the impressive Devil’s Throat, the highest and most powerful waterfall in the park.
Day 13 – Iguassú
Visit the Brazilian side of the falls for sweeping panoramic views of the entire cascade system.
Day 14 – Iguassú – Rio de Janeiro
Flight to Rio de Janeiro, one of the most spectacular cities in the world, nestled between lush mountains and golden beaches.
Day 15 – Rio de Janeiro
Full-day city tour including visits to Sugar Loaf Mountain and Corcovado Hill, home to the iconic Christ the Redeemer statue.
Optional: Experience a lively Samba Show to end your trip with the true spirit of Brazil.
Day 16 – Rio de Janeiro
End of your journey. Transfer to the airport for your return or post-tour arrangements.
