ITINERARY:
1st Day (Tue.) MADRID
Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Accommodation at the hotel.
2nd Day (Wed.) MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a panoramic city tour will take us through its medieval origins, including the Arab fortress and the Barrio de la Moreria, known for its ancient buildings and traditional taverns. We will explore the district of the Hapsburgs, characterized by Phillip II and its Renaissance and Baroque buildings at Puerta del Sol, Plaza Mayor, and Plaza de la Villa. We will see the Madrid of the Bourbons and the urban planning of Charles III, including the Royal Palace, the Cibeles Fountain, the Neptune Fountain, and the Puerta de Alcalá. We will admire 19th-century landmarks such as the elegant Plaza de Oriente and the Prado Museum. We will also get to know contemporary Madrid with avenues like Gran Vía, Paseo de la Castellana, the Salamanca neighborhood, Parque del Oeste, commercial and financial areas of Modern Madrid, and the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. 3rd Day (Thu.) MADRID – CORDOBA – SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive through La Mancha, Don Quixote’s land, going by a typical site in Puerto Lapice. Cross the natural border of “Despeñaperros” and get into Andalusia, a region for itself that shows an enormous heritage from a splendorous past. Reach Cordoba. Impressive tour of its Mosque and other sites that will ease our mind and spirit strolling through its narrow winding streets of the Jewish Quarter. In the afternoon, after a short two hour ride reach Seville. Accommodation at the hotel. (B)
4th Day (Fri.) SEVILLE
Breakfast at the hotel. Morning panoramic city tour visiting the Cathedral (the second largest in the Catholic world after St. Peters in Rome), Santa Cruz quarter (a natural scenario of “Carmen” as well as a precisely where the myth of “Don Juan” developed), Maria Luisa Park and Plaza de España. Afternoon at leisure for you to discover exclusive views, specific flavors of this active full of light city. Accommodation at the hotel. Optional Flamenco show. (B)
5th Day (Sat.) SEVILLE – RONDA – COSTA DEL SOL
After breakfast at the hotel drive south passing typical villages. Reach Ronda; free time to admire this town of Celtic origin and the marvelous view of the valley and mountain range. In the afternoon continue to the Costa del Sol, one of the most modern and important international tourist areas. Accommodation at the hotel. (B)
6th Day (Sat.) COSTA DEL SOL – FEZ
Departure along the tourist route of the Costa del Sol and arrival in Algeciras or Tarifa. Board the ferry for a short and interesting crossing of the Strait of Gibraltar, heading to Africa. Arrival in Morocco, customs formalities, and continue by coach to Fez thorugh Larache. Fez is the most monumental of the Imperial Cities. Its University of Karaouyne is the largest Islamic sanctuary in Morocco, along with its ancient theological schools, and more. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. (BD)
7th Day (Mon.) FEZ
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, a tour of the oldest of the Imperial Cities to see its most interesting sights: the 7 gates of the Royal Palace, the Jewish Quarter or Mellah, the Bab Bou Jeloud gate, and a walk through its magnificent Medina, the ancient city, declared a World Heritage Site. Afternoon at leisure. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. (BD)
8th Day (Tue.) FEZ – RABAT – MARRAKECH
Breakfast and departure towards Rabat, the diplomatic and administrative capital of Morocco. Tour of Rabat that includes visiting the outer gates of the Royal Palace, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the Hassan Tower. The journey continues to Marrakech. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. (BD)
9th Day (Wed.) MARRAKECH
Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning, enjoy a city tour of Marrakech, known as the “Pearl of the South,” beginswhich begins at the magnificent Menara Gardens, featuring a pavilion and countless olive trees. Next, an exterior visit to the Koutoubia Minaret, the twin sister of the Giralda in Seville. Upon entering the old part of the city, you’ll visit the Bahia Palace, once owned by a nobleman from the city. Finally, you will explore Jemaa el-Fna Square, one of the most fascinating places in Morocco, from where you can access the souks and the medina. You will also visit some of the artisans’ guilds: woodworkers, ceramicists, leatherworkers, spice vendors, and more. Lunch at the hotel. Free afternoon. Accommodation at the hotel. Optionally, dinner and a show at “Fantasía Chez Ali.” (BL)
10th Day (Thu.) MARRAKECH

11th Day (Fri.) MARRAKECH – CASABLANCA
Breakfast. Departure by coach to Casablanca, the cosmopolitan, industrial, and economic heart of Morocco. Upon arrival, enjoy a panoramic tour of the largest city in Morocco, visiting key sights such as the exteriors of the Hassan II Grand Mosque, Boulevard de la Corniche, and the United Nations Square. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel. (BD)
12th Day (Sat.) CASABLANCA – TANGIER – TARIFA/ALGECIRAS – COSTA DEL SOL
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the port to board the ferry and cross the Strait of Gibraltar back to Spain. Continue by coach to the hotel on the Costa del Sol. Accommodation at the hotel. (B)
13th Day (Sun.) COSTA DEL SOL – GRANADA
After breakfast at the hotel departure towards the city of Granada and its incredible and amazing monumental environment, last stronghold of the Moorish Kingdoms up to 1492. Visit the world-renowed Alhambra complex and Generalife Gardens that have inspired several authors with its sound and sights, such as the “Tales of the Alhambra” by Washington Irving. Accommodation at the hotel. In the evening, optionally, a Flamenco Zambra show. (B)
14th Day (Mon.) GRANADA – TOLEDO – MADRID
Breakfast at the hotel. Drive northward where it emerges, toward the sky of Castilla and surrounded by the Tagus River, the impressive Imperial city of Toledo –World Heritage City – where the three cultures Christians, Moorish and Jewish, have lived together. Resume of the Spanish art, history and spirituality, the whole town is a National Monument. Short guided tour of this historic old town through its narrow streets. Continue to Madrid. Accommodation at the hotel (B)
