Itinerary:

Day 1 – Rio de Janeiro

Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to your hotel. Stay at the elegant Fasano Rio de Janeiro, overlooking the city’s lively and fashionable Ipanema Beach.

Day 2 – Rio de Janeiro

Enjoy a private tour of downtown Rio de Janeiro. Then drive up through Flamengo Park to the famous Sugar Loaf Mountain and take in splendid vistas from the top.

Day 3 – Rio de Janeiro

Board the cogwheel train through Tijuca Forest up to the top of Corcovado Mountain, home to the iconic Christ the Redeemer. Enjoy lush vegetation and breathtaking views over Rio and its beaches.

Day 4 – Rio de Janeiro → Iguaçu Falls

Transfer to the airport for your flight to Foz do Iguaçu. Enjoy panoramic views of the falls from the Brazilian side, then relax at the Belmond Das Cataratas, uniquely located inside the National Park.

Day 5 – Iguaçu Falls

Cross to the Argentine side of the falls for a full-day exploration. Walk the upper and lower circuits for breathtaking views, marvel at the Devil’s Throat, and admire the park’s tropical flora and fauna. Return to your hotel and enjoy its peaceful setting.

Day 6 – Iguaçu Falls → Salvador da Bahia

Transfer to the airport and flight to Salvador da Bahia. Stay at Villa Bahia, a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the historic Pelourinho district.

Day 7 – Salvador da Bahia

Explore Salvador’s vibrant culture. Visit Barra and Fort Santa Maria, home to Pierre Verger’s photo collection. Continue to Casa do Vermelho, dedicated to novelist Jorge Amado. Lunch at Casa de Tereza, a restored colonial gem filled with Bahian art.

Day 8 – Salvador da Bahia

Day at leisure to wander through Pelourinho’s colorful streets, golden churches, and lively squares. Discover Bahian cuisine or attend a percussion workshop.

Day 9 – Salvador da Bahia → Itacaré

Flight to Ilhéus and private transfer to Txai Resort in Itacaré. The stylish stilted bungalows are surrounded by tropical gardens, just steps from miles of pristine beach.

Days 10–12 – Itacaré

Days at leisure. Enjoy the beaches, explore the fishing village, indulge in exquisite local cuisine, or unwind by your private pool.

Day 13 – Itacaré → Salvador da Bahia

Private transfer back to Ilhéus Airport. Flight to Salvador for your international connection.
