Itinerary 

Day 1 Montevideo

Arrival at the airport and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2 Montevideo

During a city tour, you explore the historical center, the Independence Square, the Solis Theater and the old market hall. In the afternoon, you enjoy a guided tour with wine tasting at the boutique winery Artesana.

Day 3 Montevideo

Experience one of Uruguay’s most cherished traditions with a traditional mate tasting session, followed by a hands-on art workshop. Paint your own mate gourd with renowned muralist Florencia Itzaina, whose work celebrates women’s stories and creativity.

Day 4 Montevideo 

La Paloma Today, you visit a local community of artisanal female fisheries known as APALCO to learn about their lives and work. At their restaurant Cocina de La Barra you enjoy a traditional lunch with fresh fish. In the afternoon, continue to La Paloma.

Day 5 La Paloma 

Morning drive to the entrance of Cabo Polonio, where you take one of the authorized 4×4 trucks to reach the town. One of South America’s largest sea lion colonies can be found here. Explore the rustic fishing town on your own and immerse yourself in its unique charm and spirit before returning to your hotel.

Day 6 La Paloma-Maldonado-Punta del Este

En route to Punta del Este, visit Alto de la Ballena, a boutique winery founded by Paula Pivel and her husband. They turned their passion for winemaking into a successful business. Take a tour of the vineyards and enjoy a guided tasting on the terrace, with stunning views, local cheeses and homemade bread.

Day 7 Punta del Este

Today’s scenic tour through the city includes iconic landmarks such as the Ralli Museum, Punta Ballena and Museo Casapueblo.

Day 8 Punta del Este –Valentines

Transfer from Punta del Este to the working ranch Estancia Los Plátanos, where you have the option to participate in the rural tasks and feel like a “Gaucho” for a day (lunch is included).

Day 9 Valentines

After breakfast, you visit Cerro Chato, the first place in the country where women exercised the right to vote. After lunch at a local restaurant, you return to the ranch.

Day 10 Valentines –Minas

Transfer to the ecofriendly hotel Cerro Místico in Minas, an oasis of tranquility, comfort and relaxation amidst 50ha of park, canyons, wetlands and native forest. There is a circuit for trekking and hiking, interpretive trails of native flora and fauna, 4×4 rides, workshops and guided activities. You will have time to enjoy the pools, browse at the library or take walks. Lunch & dinner are included.

Day 11-12 Minas

Time to relax and to participate in the activities at Hotel Cerro Místico. Lunch & dinner are included.

Day 13 Minas

Montevideo Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
