Itinerary:
Day 1 – Bogotá
Arrival in Bogotá and transfer to the hotel.
Day 2 – Bogotá
Half-day city tour including a visit to the famous Paloquemao Market, the Gold Museum, the Botero Museum, and the statue of Guadalupe. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 3 – Bogotá
Visit the underground Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá, the legendary Guatavita Lagoon, and a local family’s farm to learn more about rural Colombian life. Lunch included.
Day 4 – Bogotá – Armenia
Flight to Armenia, located in Colombia’s “Coffee Triangle.” In the afternoon, meet coffee specialists to learn about the coffee-making process. Guests can pluck, roast, and taste their own coffee.
Day 5 – Coffee Triangle
Full-day visit to the fascinating Cocora Valley with its tall palm trees. Visit the picturesque village of Salento and continue to Filandia to enjoy panoramic views of the Cordillera.
Day 6 – Armenia – Bogotá – Cartagena
Transfer to the Armenia airport and flight to Cartagena, located on Colombia’s Caribbean coast.
Day 7 – Cartagena
City tour including a visit to the San Felipe de Barajas Fortress and a walking tour through the historic center with the Cloister of San Pedro Claver.
Day 8 – Cartagena – Quito
Flight to Quito, Ecuador. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival.
Day 9 – Quito
Half-day city tour including the Equatorial Line Monument and the Ethnographic Museum, showcasing Ecuador’s diverse Indigenous cultures.
Day 10 – Quito
Day at leisure. Optional full-day excursion to the famous Otavalo Market.
Day 11 – Quito
End of the roundtrip and departure flight or optional Galápagos Islands extension (Island Hopping or Cruise).
