ITINERARY:
Day 1: MELBOURNE
Arrival at Melbourne International Airport. Known as Australia’s “European” city, Melbourne is a booming metropolis that combines the best of Australian arts, culture, cuisine, and landscapes—a vibrant mix of hidden alleyways, beautiful beaches, and incredible street art. Transfer to your hotel with an English-speaking driver. Overnight stay.
NOTE: An additional surcharge will apply for flights arriving between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM.
Day 2: MELBOURNE (City Tour)
Departure for a visit to this wonderful city. The tour will allow us to enjoy Melbourne in a relaxed and entertaining way. The guide will show us some of Melbourne’s highlights: City Park, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, and we’ll drive along Collins Street with its elegant shops and Victorian architecture. We’ll also stop at the Memorial Shrine, a memorial dedicated to Australians involved in the war. We’ll continue to the coastal neighborhood of St Kilda and Port Phillip Bay. The tour ends at the foot of the famous Eureka Tower, which features a 360° observation deck offering panoramic views of the city (admission not included). Free afternoon. Overnight stay.
Day 3: MELBOURNE
A free day to explore the city on your own or take an exciting optional excursion along Australia’s most spectacular coastal route, the Great Ocean Road. During the drive, you’ll see the area’s famous surf beaches, visit the charming coastal town of Apollo Bay, enjoy a guided tour of the Great Otway Rainforest, and admire the iconic Twelve Apostles rock formations. Overnight stay.
Day 4: MELBOURNE – CAIRNS
Transfer to the airport with an English-speaking driver for your flight (not included) to Cairns. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel with an English-speaking driver. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 5: CAIRNS (Reef Barrier Reef)
Departure for the port for a cruise on the Great Barrier Reef. You will have free time to snorkel, assisted by experienced staff, to enjoy the corals and the marine life that inhabits them. Lunch will be served on board the cruise ship. (During the tour, life jackets, masks, snorkels, and fins will be provided. The cruise staff will assist you in English.) Upon your return, you can enjoy biscuits, coffee, and tea. Arrival in Cairns. Overnight stay.
Day 6: CAIRNS
Free day in Cairns. We suggest an optional excursion to explore the Daintree Rainforest, home to the Daintree River, Cape Tribulation Beach, and Mossman Gorge. Overnight stay.
Day 7: CAIRNS – SYDNEY
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport with an English-speaking driver for your flight to Sydney (flight not included). Arrival at Sydney Airport, the most populous city in Australia with nearly 5 million inhabitants and the oldest capital of New South Wales. Regular transfer to the hotel with an English-speaking driver. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight stay.
Day 8: SYDNEY (City Tour)
Departure for a panoramic tour of Sydney. During this tour, the guide will lead us through this fascinating city and its history. We will enjoy and take photos of the impressive views of the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. The tour continues through the city’s eastern districts, arriving at the famous Bondi Beach, from where we will have the best panoramic view of Sydney. We will return to the city center, passing through the lively Paddington neighborhood with its Victorian houses and modern art galleries. Free afternoon for strolling or an optional excursion, such as a mini-cruise tour of Sydney Harbour. Overnight stay.
Day 9: SYDNEY
A free day to explore the city on your own or take an optional full-day excursion to the Blue Mountains National Park, one of New South Wales’ most popular destinations and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The region encompasses one million hectares of limestone plateaus, gorges, and rugged landscapes, dominated by temperate eucalyptus forests. This stunning area is one of Australia’s largest and best-protected forested regions. Overnight stay.
Day 10: SYDNEY
At the scheduled time, transfer to the airport with an English-speaking driver. End of our services.
