ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Quito

Arrival in Quito, the capital of Ecuador. Surrounded by snow-capped Andean peaks, Quito offers one of the most breathtaking settings in the world. The remainder of the day is at leisure to relax and acclimate.

Day 2 – Quito

Explore the colorful history of colonial Quito during a sightseeing tour featuring the Cathedral and the church of La Compañia. Continue to the Mitad del Mundo monument—where the northern and southern hemispheres meet.

Day 3 – Quito → Coca (Amazon Rainforest)

Fly to Coca and transfer to the port of Río Napo for a scenic motorized canoe journey to board the M/V Anakonda, your floating lodge in the Amazon. This evening, enjoy an adventurous nocturnal ride through the rainforest.

Day 4 – Amazon Region

Visit the Kichwa Sani Warmi Interpretation Centre to learn about local traditions and culture. Continue with a guided hike through the Yasuní National Park, home to extraordinary biodiversity. In the afternoon, climb a 37-meter canopy tower beside a giant kapok tree for panoramic views of the rainforest and its wildlife.

Day 5 – Amazon Region

Experience one of the Amazon’s most spectacular sights at the Parrot Clay Licks, where hundreds of parrots gather daily. Visit the Kichwa Yakukawsay Interpretation Centre for an authentic cultural encounter. Enjoy a unique glamping night in the jungle, complete with gourmet dining, champagne, and luxury tents.

Note: The M/V Anakonda decides on which day the glamping will occur.

Day 6 – Coca → Papallacta

Return to Coca for your flight back to Quito, then continue to Papallacta, a mountain village known for its natural hot springs. Relax and rejuvenate in the soothing thermal pools of Hotel Termas de Papallacta, surrounded by stunning Andean landscapes.

Day 7 – Papallacta → Quito → Galapagos (Isabela Island)

Transfer to Quito airport for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Upon arrival in Baltra, take a speedboat to Isabela Island and continue to Scalesia Lodge. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 8 – Isabela Island

Discover the Tintoreras Islet, formed by lava flows, and explore the Humedales, home to four species of mangroves and abundant wildlife. Full board included.

Day 9 – Isabela Island

Today, hike to the Sierra Negra and Chico Volcano, two of the island’s most remarkable geological features. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the area and dinner back at the lodge.

Day 10 – Isabela Island → Santa Cruz Island

Transfer by speedboat to Santa Cruz Island. Visit the lush highlands and enjoy lunch at a traditional hacienda. Explore the Tortoise Reserve, where giant tortoises roam freely in their natural habitat. Continue to Galapagos Safari Camp for a 5-day stay in luxury safari tents. Sunset cocktail and dinner included.

Days 11–12 – Santa Cruz Island & Surrounding Islands

Full-day boat excursions to one of the uninhabited neighboring islands: North Seymour, Bartholomew, Santa Fé, or South Plaza—each known for unique volcanic formations and abundant wildlife. Lunch on board and dinner at camp.

Day 13 – Santa Cruz Island

Explore Cerro Mesa, boasting the largest crater on the island and spectacular panoramic views. Visit Garrapatero Beach, where black lava, white sand, turquoise water, and mangroves create a magical landscape.

Day 14 – Santa Cruz Island → Mainland (Guayaquil or Quito)

Enjoy your last sunrise in the Galapagos from the camp’s viewpoint before transferring to Baltra airport for your flight back to the mainland.
