ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Bogotá
Arrival in Bogotá, the capital city of Colombia. Transfer to your hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure.
Day 2 – Bogotá
Start the day with a half-day city tour through the famous historical centre of La Candelaria, featuring colonial houses, the Plaza Bolivar, the Cathedral, the Capitol, and other historic landmarks. Visit the renowned Gold Museum and continue to the impressive underground Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá.
Day 3 – Bogotá – Fusagasugá – Bogotá
Travel to Fusagasugá to visit Hacienda Coloma, one of Colombia’s most traditional coffee farms. Learn about the entire coffee-making process—from planting and roasting to tasting the final product. Return to Bogotá in the afternoon.
Day 4 – Bogotá – Cartagena
Fly to Cartagena, the jewel of Colombia’s Caribbean coast. Embark on a half-day city tour to explore the highlights, including the Convent of La Popa, a photo stop at Fort San Felipe, and a walking tour through Cartagena’s colorful colonial streets and the Convent of San Pedro Claver.
Day 5 – Cartagena
Enjoy a full-day excursion to the Rosario Islands, a stunning archipelago surrounded by coral reefs and crystal-clear turquoise waters. Relax on the beaches, swim, or snorkel in the Caribbean Sea. Return to Cartagena in the afternoon.
Day 6 – Cartagena
Free day for personal exploration or relaxation. Wander the charming old town, shop for local crafts, or unwind at one of the nearby beaches.
Day 7 – Cartagena
Transfer to the airport for your return or onward flight.
