11 Days/ 10 Nights 

Itinerary: 

Day 01 – Quito – Otavalo
Arrival in Quito and transfer to the hotel near Otavalo.

Day 02 – Otavalo
Discover the worldwide known Indian handcrafts market Otavalo with a unique variety of handicrafts and textiles that offer this giant colourful market. Continue to Peguche where you can observe weaver’s at work. In the afternoon you may enjoy the SPA facilities of your hotel.

Day 03 – Quito – Coca / Amazonas
This morning, you will fly into Coca, gateway to the Amazon jungle. Transfer by car & canoe to the Amazon Lodge. Full board is included.

Day 04 – 05 – Amazonas
During your stay at the Amazon Lodge, enjoy wildlife viewing, rainforest hikes, birdwatching, canoe rides, or even Yoga sessions (on request). Drink in the peaceful sound of the Ecuadorian Amazon jungle.

Day 06 – Coca / Amazonas – Quito
Flight back to Quito. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 07 – Quito
Experience the colourful history of colonial Quito during a city tour. Continue to the middle of the world monument, Mitad del Mundo, where the southern and northern hemispheres meet. Tonight enjoy one of the finest dining experiences in Quito at a classic restaurant.

Day 08 – Quito – Baños
Embark on a fascinating drive south through the “Avenue of Volcanoes“. Visit to the Cotopaxi National Park. After lunch, continue to Baños. This idyllic town offers green mountains, beautiful waterfalls and thermal hot springs. Relax at the hotel´s spa. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 – Baños
Free day, optional activities are available: hiking, mountain biking, or pure relaxation in a steaming thermal bath.

Day 10 – Baños – Papallacta
Transfer to the small Andean village Papallacta, famous for its thermal baths. Enjoy the hotel´s thermal baths located 3,220m above sea level surrounded by a wonderful landscape. Overnight at the Hostería.

Day 11 – Papallacta – Quito
Transfer to Quito airport and homebound flight.
