Itinerary: 

Day 01 – Santiago
Arrival at the airport of Santiago de Chile and transfer to the hotel. Guests will join a walking tour through the downtown area of this contrasting city and visit the Santiago Metropolitan Park, one of the largest urban parks in the world. Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 02 – Santiago – Zapallar Coastal Region
Visit the Mapulemu and Quilapilium botanical gardens together with a Chilean specialist. Lunch will be served at a small restaurant in Ocoa. Continue to the National Park La Campana, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, where guests can explore a vast forest of Chilean palm trees (Jubaea chilensis) and central Chile’s unique sclerophyllous vegetation. End the day with a visit to the Garden of Universo Arte Cactus. Overnight in Zapallar, about 170 km north of Santiago.

Day 03 – Zapallar Coastal Region
Today, visit a private coastal garden not open to the public, exclusively accessible to our guests. This remarkable property, perched above the Pacific Ocean, features native and exotic plants. The host will prepare a delicious lunch with an ocean view. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided walk in the protected area of Los Molles, known for its native flora, sea birds, and sea lions.

Day 04 – Zapallar – Viña del Mar – Temuco
Visit the garden of one of Zapallar’s most creative gardeners and landscapers. After a scenic walk, enjoy a homemade lunch prepared with local fruits and vegetables. Continue to Viña del Mar and explore its famous Botanical Garden. Dinner at a local restaurant before departing by public bus (without guide) to Temuco.

Day 05 – Temuco – Huilo Huilo Natural Reserve
Arrival early morning in Temuco. Private transfer to Conguillío National Park with a snack en route. Trek through the ancient Araucaria forest with breathtaking views of the Llaima Volcano (4 hours). Continue to the Huilo Huilo Biological Reserve for check-in at Nothofagus Hotel or Montaña Mágica Lodge.

Day 06 – Huilo Huilo Natural Reserve
Guided trekking tour through the Huilo Huilo Natural Park, including visits to Salto León, Río Fuy, and Río Truful. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 07 – Huilo Huilo – Villa La Angostura
Relaxing morning at Huilo Huilo. At noon, transfer to Puerto Fuy to take the ferry across Lago Pirihueico to Pirihueico port. Cross the Andes via the Hua-Hum Pass into Argentina. Continue through San Martín de los Andes and along the scenic Ruta 40 through the Seven Lakes region with its stunning landscapes and Coihue forests. Arrival in Villa La Angostura (around 6 p.m.).

Day 08 – Villa La Angostura
Visit the world’s only Arrayán forest. Take a ferry from the Bay of Quetrihué to reach Los Arrayanes National Park. Enjoy a guided walking tour through the cinnamon-colored forest, then trek back to Villa La Angostura (3 hours). Dinner at Tinto Bistro.

Day 09 – Villa La Angostura – Bariloche
After breakfast, take the bus to Bariloche (1.5 hours) without guide. Transfer to the Llao Llao area. Enjoy the day at leisure, taking in the spectacular views and activities offered at the luxurious Llao Llao Hotel and Resort.

Day 10 – Bariloche – Buenos Aires
Flight to Buenos Aires. Transfer to the hotel in San Isidro. In the late afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of San Isidro, followed by a relaxed pizza dinner at Pizzería Romario.

Day 11 – Buenos Aires
Take the train to the Tigre Delta and board a ferry to explore part of the Biosphere Reserve. Guided walk on an island to discover the native vegetation of the Delta. Back in San Isidro, visit a private native garden designed by a renowned ecologist, including a short workshop and snack. Dinner at a local barbecue restaurant within walking distance from the hotel.

Day 12 – Buenos Aires – Punta del Este
Transfer by Buquebus ferry to Montevideo, Uruguay. Enjoy a walking tour of Montevideo’s vibrant historic center. Free time for lunch, for example at the famous Mercado del Puerto. Continue to Punta del Este for a private garden tour. Farewell dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 13 – Punta del Este
Transfer to the airport for your homebound flight.
