Boutique Tour – Argentina & Peru: Mystic of the Andes

Itinerary:
Day 01 – Buenos Aires
Arrival in Buenos Aires and transfer to the hotel. On a city tour, you will visit the colourful La Boca district, the famous May Square, modern Puerto Madero, and beautiful Recoleta.
Day 02 – Buenos Aires
Day at leisure. Optional visit to the Tigre Delta or enjoy a Tango Show with dinner at the traditional El Viejo Almacen Show House (seat-in without guide).
Day 03 – Buenos Aires – Iguassu
Flight to Iguazú and transfer to the hotel on the Argentine side. Explore the Brazilian side of the falls with panoramic views of more than 250 cascades.
Day 04 – Iguassu
Full-day excursion to the Argentine side of the famous Iguazú waterfalls, including the Devil’s Throat, one of the highest and most impressive falls.
Day 05 – Iguassu
Day at leisure. Optional excursion to visit the Guarani village Fortín Mborore or a local Yerba Mate farm.
Day 06 – Iguassu – Salta
Flight to Salta and transfer to your hotel. Half-day city tour with a drive up to San Bernardo Hill and a visit to the Art & Crafts Market.
Day 07 – Salta – Purmamarca
Transfer to Purmamarca with its ancient church and the fascinating “Hill of 7 Colours.” Continue to the spectacular salt flats of Salinas Grandes. Overnight in Purmamarca.
Day 08 – Purmamarca
Day at leisure. Optional excursion to the community of Hornaditas with a short hike accompanied by llamas.
Day 09 – Purmamarca – Salta
Visit the Quebrada de Humahuaca, one of South America’s most fascinating gorges, known for its colourful rock formations, rugged landscape, and breathtaking panoramas.
Day 10 – Salta – Lima
Flight to Lima and transfer to the hotel. City tour with visits to the Monastery of San Francisco and the Lima Art Museum (MALI).
Day 11 – Lima – Cusco – Sacred Valley
Flight to Cusco. Visit the Sacsayhuaman ruins, where a shaman ceremony will be held. Continue to the Sacred Valley, stopping at the Awanakancha community to meet traditional weavers and see llamas and alpacas. Overnight at Hotel Sonesta Posada Yucay.
Day 12 – Sacred Valley
Visit the Chichubamba community and choose three activities such as creating ceramics, producing artisanal chocolate, or traditional textile art to interact with locals. Lunch with the community is included.
Day 13 – Cusco
Hike in the Sacred Valley to the salt flats of Maras and the ancient circular terraces of Moray.
Day 14 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Take the Vistadome train to Machu Picchu, the legendary Inca city that remains remarkably intact. Enjoy a guided tour of the citadel’s agricultural terraces, houses, and temples. Return to Cusco by train and bus for overnight.
Day 15 – Cusco
Walking city tour including the Plaza de Armas, the cathedral, and Korikancha, the Temple of the Sun. Visit the lively San Pedro Market with its variety of Andean products.
Day 16 – Cusco
Day at leisure to explore the city or enjoy optional excursions.
Day 17 – Cusco – Lima
End of the roundtrip and homebound flight.
