Itinerary:
Day 01 – Lima
On arrival you will be met and taken to your hotel, the noble Country Club Lima. Enjoy a welcome Pisco Sour at the bar followed by dinner at Perroquet, the Summum-awarded restaurant serving authentic Peruvian cuisine.
Day 02 – Lima
Explore both the colonial and modern sides of Lima. Stop at Bar Cordano, the city’s oldest bar, for a classic jamón del país sandwich. Enjoy tapas in Barranco, followed by coffee and dessert in a traditional café.
Day 03 – Lima
Visit a local market to discover Peru’s diverse ingredients before joining a hands-on cooking class featuring Peruvian and international cuisine. Enjoy your own creations for lunch and explore a specialty shop for Peruvian spices and herbs.
Day 04 – Lima – Iquitos – Amazon Rainforest
Fly to Iquitos and transfer to Nauta to embark on the M/V Aria Amazon for a 5-day / 4-night luxury cruise. Stay in air-conditioned design suites with full board and river views.
Days 05–07 – Amazon Rainforest
Spend your days exploring the Amazon jungle to observe its incredible biodiversity. Photograph manatees, tropical birds, and turtles, relax on the observation deck, and enjoy sunset cocktails and Amazonian fine dining crafted by Chef Pedro Miguel Schiaffino.
Day 08 – Amazon Rainforest – Iquitos – Cusco
Visit a local market and the Manatee Rescue Center before returning to Iquitos for your flight via Lima to Cusco. Overnight at the Belmond Monasterio, a converted monastery blending colonial charm with luxury.
Day 09 – Cusco – Sacred Valley
Drive through the Sacred Valley, visiting the Pisac Market and Ollantaytambo Fortress. Enjoy a seven-course farm-to-table lunch at Hacienda Sarapampa. Overnight at Inkaterra Hacienda Urubamba, offering panoramic mountain views.
Day 10 – Sacred Valley
Visit Potato Park, where local communities preserve over 1,000 varieties of native potatoes. Learn about Andean agriculture and enjoy a traditional Andean lunch.
Day 11 – Sacred Valley – Machu Picchu – Cusco
Board the elegant Sacred Valley Train to Machu Picchu. Visit the legendary Inca Citadel, enjoy lunch at the Sanctuary Lodge, then return to Cusco. Overnight at Belmond Monasterio.
Day 12 – Cusco
Take a walking tour through Cusco and the artistic San Blas District. Visit Coricancha Temple and the Sacsayhuamán Ruins, masterpieces of Inca architecture. Dine à la carte at the MAP Café in the evening.
Day 13 – Cusco – Lima – Ica
Fly to Lima, then drive along the Panamericana Sur to Ica. Stay at Viñas Queirolo, the only hotel in Peru surrounded by vineyards. Tour the estate and enjoy a tasting of Intipalka wine.
Day 14 – Ica – Paracas
Visit Tacama, the oldest vineyard in Peru, for a tour and tasting of premium wines and piscos. Continue to Paracas and stay at the luxurious Hotel Paracas, A Luxury Collection Resort.
Day 15 – Paracas
Take a speedboat excursion to the Ballestas Islands, home to sea lions, penguins, and countless seabirds. Return to relax by the pool or spa, or enjoy a cocktail at the Bar Lounge overlooking the bay.
Day 16 – Paracas – Lima
After breakfast, transfer back to Lima Airport (seat-in service, without guide) for your homebound flight.
