ITINERARY:

Day 1 – Santiago de Chile

Arrival in Santiago de Chile. Enjoy a city tour including a visit to Cerro San Cristóbal for panoramic views of the city and the Andes Mountains.

Day 2 – Santiago de Chile

Day at leisure for personal exploration. Optional excursion to Valparaíso, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and Viña del Mar, famous for its beautiful beaches and gardens.

Day 3 – Santiago de Chile – Calama – San Pedro de Atacama

Flight to Calama. Upon arrival, transfer to San Pedro de Atacama, a charming desert town surrounded by a green oasis at 2,438 meters above sea level. Enjoy a walking tour through the village and visit its historic white church, built with cactus wood. In the evening, visit the Valley of the Moon to watch the spectacular desert sunset.

Day 4 – San Pedro de Atacama

Full-day excursion through the dramatic landscapes of the Atacama Desert. Visit the Salar de Atacama, an ancient salt flat that was once an inland sea, the high-altitude lagoons of Miscanti and Meñiques at the base of two towering volcanoes, and the indigenous village of Toconao (seat-in).

Day 5 – San Pedro de Atacama

Day at leisure for independent activities. Optional excursion to the Geysers of El Tatio, located high in the Altiplano at 14,760 feet above sea level, to witness the geothermal activity at sunrise.

Day 6 – San Pedro de Atacama – Santiago

Transfer to Calama Airport and flight back to Santiago. In the afternoon, visit a traditional winery in the Maipo Valley for a guided tour and wine tasting.

Day 7 – Santiago – Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales

Flight to Punta Arenas in southern Patagonia. Enjoy a half-day city tour before continuing by public bus to Puerto Natales, gateway to the Torres del Paine National Park.

Day 8 – Puerto Natales

Full-day excursion to Torres del Paine National Park (seat-in). Admire the park’s stunning landscapes of glaciers, lakes, and rugged mountains. Look out for wildlife including condors, guanacos, and Patagonian deer.

Day 9 – Puerto Natales – Punta Arenas

Travel by public bus back to Punta Arenas (without guide).

Day 10 – Punta Arenas – Santiago

Flight to Santiago. The rest of the day is free for last-minute shopping or sightseeing.

Day 11 – Santiago de Chile

Transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
