ITINERARY:
Day 1 – Buenos Aires 🇦🇷
Arrival at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer to your hotel in the heart of Buenos Aires. The rest of the day is free to relax or join an optional city tour to explore the highlights of Argentina’s vibrant capital.
Day 2 – Buenos Aires → Bahía Bustamante
Fly south to Bahía Bustamante, a small and secluded seaside village surrounded by the vast Patagonian wilderness. Known for its unique biodiversity, this is one of Argentina’s best-kept secrets.
Day 3 – Bahía Bustamante
Enjoy included shared activities such as wildlife observation, a visit to the petrified forest, a sailing excursion to Malaspina Cove with a stop at the seal colony, and a tour of a traditional Patagonian ranch. Optional activities like horseback riding, trekking, or kayaking are also available.
Day 4 – Bahía Bustamante → Puerto Madryn
Drive approximately 4 hours to Puerto Madryn. En route, visit Punta Tombo — home to one of the largest Magellanic penguin colonies in the world.
Day 5 – Puerto Madryn: Peninsula Valdés Excursion
Full-day excursion to the famous Peninsula Valdés Nature Reserve. During whale-watching season (July–mid-December), an optional boat tour from Puerto Pirámides offers the chance to spot Southern Right Whales. Continue to Punta Delgada to observe a variety of birds and a large sea elephant colony along the coast.
Day 6 – Puerto Madryn → Iguazú
Fly (via Buenos Aires) to Iguazú, home to some of the most breathtaking waterfalls on Earth. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy a relaxing evening.
Day 7 – Iguazú: Argentinean Falls
Explore the Argentinean side of Iguazú National Park. Ride the ecological train to approach the awe-inspiring Devil’s Throat and walk along several scenic trails offering unforgettable views of the cascading waterfalls.
Day 8 – Iguazú → Yacutinga Private Reserve
Transfer to Yacutinga Lodge, located in a private reserve within the lush Misiones rainforest — home to jaguars, toucans, howler monkeys, and caimans.
Day 9 – Yacutinga Reserve
Immerse yourself in the rainforest with guided eco-activities focused on soft adventure and conservation: birdwatching, canoeing, and guided hikes through the tropical forest.
Day 10 – Yacutinga → Iguazú
Return to Iguazú and enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Optional visit to the Brazilian side of the falls for a panoramic view.
Day 11 – Iguazú → Esteros del Iberá (via San Ignacio & Posadas)
Travel south with a visit to the Jesuit missions of San Ignacio, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Continue through Posadas to Estancia Puerto Valle, located near Laguna Valle in the Iberá Wetlands — one of the world’s largest and most important ecosystems, home to crocodiles, capybaras, and marsh deer.
Days 12–13 – Esteros del Iberá
Experience the unique wildlife and landscapes of Iberá. Included activities feature horseback riding, canoeing, birdwatching, forest hikes, and wildlife observation.
Day 14 – Esteros del Iberá → Buenos Aires
Transfer to Posadas for your flight back to Buenos Aires. In the evening, enjoy an optional Tango Show and dinner at the iconic El Viejo Almacén.
Day 15 – Buenos Aires / Departure
Transfer to Ezeiza International Airport for your homebound flight.
